Role Overview
You will manage the day-to-day running of construction sites across the UK, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams, maintaining compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
This role involves travelling to different sites and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities

Manage all on-site activities to meet project specs, deadlines, and budgets

Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and stakeholders

Schedule and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers

Enforce health and safety rules and carry out regular safety inspections

Deliver safety training and toolbox talks when required

Conduct quality inspections and resolve issues promptly
-
Manage labour, materials, and equipment efficiently
-
Monitor inventory and organise timely delivery of materials

Maintain accurate daily records of site activity and incidents

Report project progress and flag any issues to senior management

Handle problems and conflicts on site with minimal disruption

Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans
Requirements
Essential
-
Experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor in construction
-
Proven track record managing large construction projects
-
Strong leadership and organisational skills
-
Proficiency with project management software and MS Office
-
Good knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations
-
SMSTS certification
-
Valid UK driving licence
-
EUSR SHEA POWER or valid CSCS card
Desirable
-
Qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar
-
Experience working in petrol forecourt construction (UKPIA)
-
Emergency First Aid at Work certification
