Freelance Highways Site Manager – Goole (4-Month Contract)

Contract Position | Goole | Minor Civils | Approx. 4 Months | Competitive Day Rate

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a minor civils highways project just outside Goole . This is a 4-month contract role, ideal for someone with a solid background in highways maintenance, small-scale civils works , and site supervision .

Role Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure works are delivered on time and to specification

• Manage subcontractors and ensure HSEQ compliance across the site

• Liaise with clients, local authorities, and project stakeholders

• Report progress and manage documentation related to the works

• Coordinate traffic management, utilities, and public interface where necessary

Requirements:
? Proven experience as a Site Manager in highways or minor civils
? SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold card preferred), and First Aid certified, safety critical medical is a MUST!
? Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and site management best practices
? Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site daily
? Able to start within the next 1–2 weeks
