Job Title: Floor Fitter
Location: Various sites (Commercial & Residential primarily West Yorkshire)
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Subcontractor or PAYE negotiable
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 17:00
Overtime: Opportunities for overtime and weekend work
Pay: Price-per-job basis (rates discussed depending on experience and employment status)

Were looking for a skilled and reliable Floor Fitter to join our growing team, working on a wide range of flooring projects across commercial, residential, local authority, and educational settings . The role requires a high standard of workmanship across all types of flooring, from prep to finish.

Youll need to be confident working independently and capable of representing our company professionally on client sites. We're flexible on employment status open to both those wanting to be on the books or working as self-employed labour-only subcontractors .

• Full sub-floor preparation, including levelling and damp proofing

• Installation of all flooring types, including:

  • Vinyl / Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT)

  • Carpets

  • Safety flooring (including wet rooms)

  • Site-formed coving and silicone sealing

• Reading and working from plans/specs where needed

• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of workspaces

• Delivering consistently high-quality finishes across all projects

• Proven experience in all aspects of professional floor fitting

• Valid UK driving licence with clean record (own transport preferred)

• Ability to start immediately

• Must work to a high standard and take pride in finishing details

• CSCS card required (Blue skilled worker card preferred)

• Willingness to undergo a DBS check already having one is a bonus

• Must be professional, punctual, and reliable

• Steady pipeline of varied work (residential, commercial, local authority)

• Flexibility on employment basis PAYE or subcontractor
