Lecturer in Multi Skills

• Salary: £31,357 to £43,729 per annum including London Weighting

We are excited to offer the opportunity for a dedicated Multi Skills Lecturer to join our team at Harrow. This role involves teaching a variety of construction and multi-skills programmes to students.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and practical lessons in various construction craft trades up to Level 2.
• Develop course materials and assessments that meet curriculum standards.
• Monitor and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in curriculum development meetings and contribute to the enhancement of course content.
• Engage with students aged 16-19, motivating them to achieve their potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster a supportive learning environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified to Level 3 in a relevant subject area, such as construction or related trades.
• Experience in teaching or training, specifically in Construction/Multi Skills programmes up to Level 2.
• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to motivate and engage young learners.
• Commitment to continuous professional development, including undertaking a Level 5 teaching qualification funded by the College.
