In-depth knowledge of BS 5839-1
Strong experience in commissioning large networked addressable fire alarm systems
Ability to fault-find and resolve complex issues across multiple system types
Competent with cause-and-effect testing, loop load calculations, and integration with other systems
Proficiency in using commissioning software tools and configuring control panels
Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, consultants, and end-users
Ability to lead a small team of engineers and mentor junior staff
Proactive problem solver with a can-do attitude
Strong reporting and documentation skills
Capable of attending client/site meetings and providing technical updates
Level 3 qualification in fire alarm systems
Enhanced DBS clearance
Full UK Driving Licence
