Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the development and implementation of project control processes to meet project objectives and client requirements.
• Create and manage tender schedules for substation projects and design schedules with the design team.
• Utilize Primavera P6, MSP, and other project control systems for scheduling, prioritization, monitoring, and reporting.
• Oversee schedule management and earned value management to ensure timely project delivery.
• Analyze the impact of delays and changes on project timelines, facilitating the implementation of agreed compensation events.
• Support risk management processes, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, protocols, and regulations.
• Perform critical path analysis and evaluate scheduling techniques for optimal project execution.
• Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, resolving complex project control issues and ensuring project success.
• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations in a high-compliance environment.
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication of project progress.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent experience in project controls/planning, with at least 7 years of relevant experience).
• Experience working within the data centre sector or similar high-tech environments is highly desirable.
• Expert-level proficiency with Primavera P6 and professional-level skills in Power BI.
• Experience with Oracle Primavera Cloud is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills with the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to work independently and take the initiative to meet deadlines and solve problems.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of the financial impact of site-based activities on the overall project.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster trust and collaboration within the project team and with external stakeholders.
• A solid understanding of project control methodologies and their practical application.
