Job Title: Electrician - Airfield Ground Lighting

Location: Manchester (with potential travel across the UK)
Rate: £25.23 per hour
Contract: 4 weeks initially, with project expected to run 12-18 months
Start Date: Immediate

LRL are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to work on the installation of Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) . Our client is a recognised specialist in AGL design, verification, installation, and maintenance across the UK, with projects primarily based in defence establishments and airports.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile, long-term project, with training and ongoing support provided.

• Carry out electrical installation works in line with current regulations and scope of works.

• Install LV wiring systems and containment.

• Install and test AGL systems on site.

• Cable pulling and associated installation tasks.

• Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards.

• Maintain awareness of Health, Safety, and Quality Management procedures.

• Deliver AGL and electrical installation services across various projects nationwide.

• Initially work will be based in Manchester, with this particular project expected to last 12-18 months.

• CSCS / JIB Card.

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.

• AM2 qualification.

• Clean DBS.

• Full UK Driving Licence.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience as an Installation Electrician, including:

• Installing LV wiring systems.

• Installing containment systems.

• Cable pulling.

• Ability to plan and coordinate tasks effectively.

• Willingness to work outside in challenging conditions.

Full training on AGL systems will be provided.

• £25.23 per hour .
