What Youll Be Doing:

As a key member of our engineering team, youll be responsible for:

• Carrying out thorough examinations, testing, and inspections to LOLER and PUWER standards.

• Servicing and repairing lifting equipment both in-house and at customer sites.

• Diagnosing faults and performing hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs.

• Supporting breakdown response and on-site troubleshooting.

• Preparing hire equipment to ensure it meets stringent operational standards.

• Ensuring workshop operations remain safe, tidy, and compliant.

What Were Looking For:

• Proven experience in a similar role ideally working with lifting, rigging, or material handling equipment.

• LEEA qualifications (or equivalent) are preferred, but we can support ongoing certification if needed.

• Strong mechanical and/or electrical diagnostic and repair skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to doing things right safely and efficiently.

• A full, clean UK driving licence.

• A forklift licence and/or CSCS card are advantageous but not essential.
