Service Engineer (Air Conditioning & Refrigeration)
Location: Peterborough (within 20-mile radius)
Salary: Up to £42,000 Paid Travel Overtime
Hours: 40 per week (MonFri, 8am5pm)

Were growing our high-performing Peterborough team and looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer with refrigeration and air conditioning expertise. Youll be working with well-known industrial, commercial, and domestic clients , from food processing facilities and offices to pharmaceutical sites and specialist projects. With a strong pipeline of work, plus structured training and development, this is an exciting role with long-term career potential.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) , servicing, and repair of HVAC & refrigeration systems

• Respond to breakdowns with rapid diagnostics and problem-solving

• Undertake system adjustments, component replacements, and technical repairs

• Escalate and resolve more complex issues in collaboration with senior engineers

• Keep service reports accurate and maintain excellent communication with clients

• Competitive salary up to £42,000 per annum

• Fully equipped, high-spec van & tablet

• Generous overtime rates time and a half after 5pm weekdays, double time weekends

• Standby rota (1-in-5 weeks) with allowance overtime for callouts

• 25 days annual leave bank holidays (increasing with service)

• Experience as a mobile Air Conditioning or Refrigeration Engineer

• F-Gas certification (City & Guilds 2079 or equivalent essential)

• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (desirable)

• CSCS card / plasma ticket (advantageous)

• Full UK driving licence

• Strong technical & diagnostic skills with great customer service

• Must be based within 20 miles of Peterborough
