Finishing Manager

We are currently searching for a Finishing Manager for a £50m mixed-use residential development located in Bermondsey. This scheme is in its later build stages are requires a Finishing Manager to come in and help drive on the internals packages. Whilst the role is focused on finishing, some units will be a 2nd fix stage so good all-round knowledge is required.

The role:

• Plan, sequence, and manage all finishing works from first fix completion through to handover.
• Inspect works daily, identify defects, and ensure all snags are completed to the required standard before client inspections.
• Oversee and coordinate finishing trades such as carpentry, decorating, tiling, flooring, kitchen/bathroom fitting, and M&E finals.
• Ensure all finishes match design specifications, samples, and client expectations.
• Maintain safe working environments during finishing stages, particularly when multiple trades are working in confined areas.
• Accompany clients on pre-handover inspections, manage expectations, and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure plots/units are fully complete, cleaned, tested, and documented for final sign-off.
• Maintain snagging lists, quality checklists, and progress reports for site and project managers.

Required:

• 5+ years finishing/internal package management experience.
• Strong experience on residential projects is essential.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
