We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in the construction and building services sector, seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Site Manager / Foreman / Engineer to lead the site delivery of M&E works across key projects in the Newcastle area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a time-served M&E professional (mechanically or electrically biased) who thrives in a site-based leadership role and is passionate about quality, coordination, and safety.
The Role:
Oversee the day-to-day site delivery of mechanical and/or electrical installation works
Lead and coordinate subcontractors and direct operatives
Monitor progress against the programme and maintain regular site reporting
Ensure compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and standards
Manage quality inspections, snagging, and handover processes
Maintain site safety procedures and ensure proper use of permit systems
What We're Looking For:
Time-served trade background in either electrical or mechanical building services
SSSTS or SMSTS qualification is essential
Strong knowledge of containment, ductwork, cabling, plant room installations, and general M&E systems
Valid CSCS card (Supervisor or Manager level)
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Prior military leadership experience is a strong advantage
