We're offering a fantastic opportunity for a Damp and Mould Operative to join the responsive repairs team at a respected, award-winning housing association. This hands-on role involves working directly in tenants' homes to diagnose and resolve damp and mould issues, helping to improve living conditions and prevent future problems.

Responsibilities:

• Inspecting social housing properties for signs of damp, mould, condensation, and water ingress.
• Diagnosing root causes such as poor ventilation, plumbing leaks, or rising damp.
• Carrying out treatment and remediation works including mould removal, damp proofing, and wall treatments.
• Repairing and restoring affected areas through plastering, decorating, and sealing.
• Installing or upgrading ventilation systems and recommending preventative measures
• Maintaining detailed records of inspections, treatments, and repairs, including photographic evidence.
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
