Construction Material Tester

Location: Acton, Greater London

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 PA

Duties:

• Conduct before use vehicle/equipment checks and maintenance to ensure that all site services equipment is in good working condition.
• Ensure that all tools and testing equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Conduct testing of asphalt, aggregates, earthworks, and concrete, at site locations.
• Handle and transport materials and samples as needed, including loading and unloading vehicles and other testing and material-handling equipment.
• Assist Site Services Team Leader in coordinating and scheduling site services activities.
• Ideally to have experience on a production line.
• Required to use various methods of testing in the lab, weighing materials and recording the data both on paper and into an electronic system.
• Repetitive work and requires concentration at all times with good communication skills.

Education & Qualifications:

• Ideally to have experience on a production line.
• Ability to multitask.
• The passion for learning and progressing within a rapidly growing company. High levels of attention to detail to ensure all records are accurately kept.
• Good written and verbal communication levels with internal and external clients.
• Full driving licence and CSCS Card.
• You should have experience in the either of the following fields: Groundworks, Material Testing, Construction Engineer, Technician, Field Technician, Site Specialist etc.
